Same Team. Same Values. A Name That Reflects Who We’ve Always Been.

By Callie McDermett and Sadie Poe

We’re excited to share an important milestone in our journey.

American Heritage Restoration (AHR) is now Kindry Construction.

While our name is changing, the company you’ve come to rely on remains the same — the same leadership, the same team, and the same commitment to quality, care, and follow-through. This change reflects who we are today and where we’re headed, while staying true to the values and standards that have defined us from the beginning.

Why the name change?

From day one, this company has been built on more than the work we do — it’s been built on how we do it.

Kindry Construction Team

As we’ve grown, it became clear that our original name no longer fully reflected who we’ve always been or the direction we’re intentionally moving toward. The transition to Kindry Construction allows our name to align more clearly with our identity: a trusted construction partner defined by strong leadership, durable craft, and long-term relationships.

This isn’t about leaving our roots behind. It’s about honoring them — while positioning the company for sustained growth, clarity, and excellence in the years ahead.

What the name Kindry represents

Kindry is a reflection of Kindred and Foundry.

It represents the balance of deep connection and durable craft — the relationships we build and the quality we stand behind. The name speaks to how we work: grounded in trust, guided by responsibility, and focused on building things that last.

“Kindry represents who we’ve always been at our core. This isn’t about changing direction — it’s about giving a name to the values and standards that have guided our work from the beginning. We’re still the same company, with the same people and the same commitment. We finally have a name that reflects it.”
— CEO Marcus McDermett

A name guided by our values

At Kindry Construction, our work is shaped by the same values that have guided us from day one:

  • Honesty — We are truthful, direct, and fair.

  • Loyalty — We build trust and reliability in our relationships.

  • Family — We treat everyone like family.

  • Communication — We communicate with our clients, subcontractors, and team members on a regular basis.

These values aren’t new — and they’re not changing. They continue to guide how we work, how we show up, and how we serve.

We’re proud of the work we’ve done as American Heritage Restoration and grateful for the trust placed in us over the years.
